Standardized Compliance Reviews for PAs and NPs Begins January 2008

Starting January 1, 2008, the NC Medical Board and the NC Board of Nursing will begin a standardized approach to physician assistant and nurse practitioner Compliance Reviews.
The reviews are designed to ensure that that the PA or NP is complying with the Boards’ rules and regulations. As required under PA and NP rules, certain information and records must be maintained and made available to representatives from either Board upon request.
