From Hiring to Firing: How to Manage Legal Risks, sponsored by the Charlotte Regional Medical Group Managers, presented in Charlotte, NC.
Hiring and firing employees entails many legal risks to employers. Attendees learned what types of discrimination are illegal and ways a practice manager might unintentionally discriminate. How to hire and fire while reducing legal exposure was the focus of the presentation. Course materials included a pre-employment inquiries checklist and a discipline and termination checklist.
